Return to a way of singing that pleases God and unleashes His power

Saturday August 20, 2022

Theme: “Return to a way of singing that pleases God and unleashes His power» Text: Psalms 147:1-9

1. Praise the Lord! For it is beautiful to celebrate our God, For he is sweet, it is decorous to praise him. 2. The Lord rebuilds Jerusalem, He gathers the exiles of Israel; 3. He heals the brokenhearted, And binds up their wounds. 4. He counts the number of stars, He gives them all names. 5. Our Lord is great, mighty in his strength, His intelligence has no limit. 6. The Lord upholds the afflicted, brings the wicked down to the ground. 7. Sing to the Lord with thanksgiving, Praise our God with the harp! 8. He covers the heavens with clouds, He prepares rain for the earth; He causes the grass to sprout on the mountains. 9. He gives food to the cattle, To the young of the crow when they cry,

Lets remember:

We need to return to a way of singing that pleases God and unleashes his power. To do this, it is necessary to renovate the themes of the songs. We must enrich the message we broadcast to reach a wide range of works done by God in order to sing them. Sometimes it seems like we don't take the time to quote the great work that God is doing. There are only a small number of works of God that come up time after time. Now, the works of God are innumerable; let us therefore take the time to contemplate its greatness. Therefore, singing for God must be the result of a personal experience lived with God; it would help to be more true when it is necessary to express the intimate experience with God. It is beautiful, it is decorous to praise God with specific subjects or themes to peel them in front of his face. God is pleased to listen to us when we recall what He accomplishes in the midst of this world but above all within our own life, our own family. The Lord God is thirsty and hungry for our praise because it constitutes his meal, God feeds on the fruit of our lips according to Hebrews 13:15. Excellent Saturday. Amen Alain Louz.-
