Return to a way of singing that pleases God and unleashes his power

Wednesday August 17, 2022

Theme : " Return to a way of singing that pleases God and unleashes his power " Text : Ephesians 5:19-20

19. Speak to one another in psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs, singing and making melody to the Lord with all your heart; 20. Give thanks continually for all things to God the Father, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ,

Let's remember:

The frantic race of the daily lifestyle makes us forget the fundamentals of the faith. Many of us love God but forget to include him in our talks and talks. We spend the longest time talking about anything but God. When we make a small incursion into this field, it is to quickly get out of it without having left a visible trace. And yet, we are asked to take pleasure in nurturing one another with spiritual songs, psalms and hymns. God alone knows if in the greatest number of canticles, there is spirituality in them. Some famous songs have been emptied of God, God has been evacuated to leave room for approximate messages. Let us converse by psalms sung or spoken; likewise for spiritual hymns and canticles. Only God should be celebrated in hymns, psalms and canticles. Our heart must cling to that of God when we converse or when we sing his praises. Let us put our heart fully in the celebration of God without forgetting to give thanks to Him. Excellent Wednesday. Amen Alain Louz.-
