Reconciliation: Source of Material and Spiritual Blessings for a Church

Wednesday November 9, 2022

Theme: “Reconciliation: Source of Material and Spiritual Blessings for a Church" Text: Colossians 1:12-18 12. Give thanks to the Father, who has enabled you to share in the inheritance of the saints in the light, 13. who has delivered us from the power of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son of his love, 14. in whom we have redemption, the remission of sins. 15. He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation. 16. For in him were created all things that are in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, thrones, dignities, dominions, authorities. All was created by him and for him. 17. He is before all things, and all things subsist in him. 18. He is the head of the body of the Church; he is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, in order to be the first in everything. Remember: Paul explains it better to Ephesians 2 with clever words: "You were dead in your sins, according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, of the spirit which works in the sons of the We lived according to the lusts of our flesh, doing the wills of the flesh and of our thoughts, and we were by nature children of wrath... But God, who is rich in mercy, because of the great love with which he has given us loved, he raised us up, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus." This description shows how the Lord Jesus raised us up from the fall to value us in heavenly places. He took us in his glorious procession and gave us to be reconciled with his Father who is also ours. We were the prey of Satan but Jesus made us the delights of God. We have received forgiveness and redemption from sins thanks to the only first-born who best takes care of all the siblings, ensuring that no one is lost among the family members from the same Father. These are wonderful material and spiritual blessings from our reconciliation with Daddy. Thank you Jesus. Excellent Wednesday. Amen Alain Louz.-
