Theme : " Overcoming the worries of difficult times " Text : Luke 12: 22-26
22. Jesus then said to his disciples, Therefore I say to you, Do not worry about your life what you will eat, nor for your body what you will be clothed with. 23. Life is more than food, and the body more than clothing. 24. Consider the crows: they neither sow nor reap, they have neither storehouse nor barn; and God feeds them. How much more are you not worth than the birds! 25. Who among you, by worrying, can add a cubit to your lifespan? 26. If then you cannot even the smallest thing, why do you worry about the rest?
Let us remember:
There are times when life seems bitter in the eyes of man, this is exactly where you have to be vigilant so as not to succumb to the temptation of doubt, fear, anguish, anxiety, distress or other stress. The best response would be to take time in prayer and meditation on the word of God. We can ask for strength and perseverance to stand firm; ask for help from God who never fails in distress. Above all, we must not be depressed, but we must hope in God and not cast worried glances. Also, let's take the time to better understand what lesson God wants to teach us because every situation can teach us; this requires attentive listening to God, in the silence of our heart. Excellent Tuesday. Amen Alain Louz.-
