Theme: “May your faith be unshakeable Text: 1 Corinthians 10:13

13. No temptation has come to you that is not human, and God, who is faithful, will not suffer you to be tempted beyond what you are able; but with the temptation he will also prepare the way out of it, that you may be able to endure it.

Let's remember:

It’s about unwavering faith vs. temptation. Indeed, temptation is the impulse that pushes to sin, to evil with a view to succumbing to it. It is a desire that is pushed to its awakening in order to act badly. Temptation is an attraction towards something defended by the Christian faith. It is a test of a person's ability to choose good over evil. It is an incitement to sin and to follow Satan rather than God. The morality of temptation is to resist and then choose good rather than evil. Every temptation comes from a desire in our heart to get what it desires deep down. Temptation is often, if not always, human because it comes from lust. Faith's mission is to withstand such a test. Faith becomes the antibody of spiritual life. She fights so that immunity is preserved and that the microbe does not destroy the body. Faith being based on God, this is how the Lord intervenes to prepare the means to emerge victorious in each temptation. Especially when we are beyond our strength to resist, God gives us a helping hand to stand firm. This is why we must endure temptation because we are not alone in this battle. Temptation strengthens us and helps us learn to rely on God. It strengthens our faith and serves as a test of whether it remains unshakeable despite the fierceness of said temptation. Let us not break our faith, let us keep it unshakeable until the end of temptation because victory has been ours since Golgotha. Excellent Saturday. Amen Alain Louz.-
