Theme: “Lord, teach me to do your will” Text: Proverbs 3:5-6
5. Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and lean not on your own wisdom; 6. Acknowledge him in all your ways, and he will make your paths straight.
Let's remember:
Many times we mistake our own will for that of God. There can be moments of confusion where we confuse our will with that of God; before realizing that we were wrong. This may be due to lack of discernment or misinterpretation of the message discerned. Our wisdom can play dirty tricks on us because it can lead us far from the will of God as it is written in Isaiah 55:8. “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, says the 'Eternal ". By following our ways, we will stray from the will of God. So let us not lean on our wisdom because of the vanity of our thoughts. Rather, let us trust with all our hearts in the Lord, let us abandon our lives to his grace; then we will do his will. He who acknowledges the Lord God in all his ways, it is he who does his will. Pretense and superficiality are to be avoided; instead, let's follow God with all our hearts. We are asked for an additional commitment to do his will. Let us put all our heart into doing the will of God so that our joy and that of God may be complete. Have a great Thursday. Amen. Alain Louz.-
