Theme: “Lord, teach me to do your will” Text: Isaiah 42:16
16. I will make the blind walk in a way they do not know, I will lead them in paths they do not know; I will turn darkness into light before them, and the crooked places into plains: this I will do, and I will not forsake them.
Let's remember:
Our God is the author of life. It is his will that dominates. The devil is agitated in wanting to demonstrate that he is the prince of this world but God far supplants him because he is the owner. Satan's rebellion draws unsteady minds toward his will. But the Lord God rather calls us not to go to the devil. Rather, let us follow the teachings of Jesus Christ in order to put them into practice. Indeed, doing the will of God is walking towards the direction that God gives us to follow. We are blind because we lack knowledge and vision. The Lord will lead us to paths we do not know. Let us not turn away from this path. Let us walk in the footsteps of Jesus Christ. Let us be obedient and follow God's direction. It is He who knows our shortcomings and our imperfections, He controls our needs. From darkness, he will lead us into the light of his Word. To do God's will is to live in the light of His Word without turning away. God will make our paths straight. He will fill our path to help us do his will since he knows that a winding path is not easy to navigate. This is why he will make sure to mark it so that we can move around easily. It is true that the path of the Lord is not easy to follow, but it is not impossible to follow it either. His Word is a lamp to our feet to enlighten us to do his will. Have a great Tuesday.
