Theme: "Living in sincere love"

Text: 1 John 4:20-21

20. If anyone says, I love God, and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen? 21. And this commandment we have from him: He who loves God must love his brother also.

Let us remember:

Today's message teaches us an inclusive love, devoid of preference. We cannot choose who to love and exclude others. Love is an "all-in-one" package like an "all-inclusive" package. This kind of package takes care of all the aspects notified in the specifications. For us, we are asked to take each person into account and love them without sulking. Of course, there will be the problem of people who are not sociable, those who are not sociable, hateful people, people who hate us, pagan people, people who do not fit into our mold of love. And this is the most juicy part of sincere love. We must love them. God tells us to love them with all our heart. There is no other explanation to give, just love them and that's it. Loving a person does not mean that we have to go and visit them every day. It is about the disposition of our heart. Let us not close our hearts to the love that our neighbor deserves; as God loves us without looking at our faults, we too love our neighbor without seeing his faults. Loving God becomes an empty slogan when we hate our neighbor, because our neighbor whom we do not love is the image of God. Loving God is obeying Him when He tells us to love our neighbor with a sincere love. Excellent Saturday. Amen
