Theme: "Living in sincere love"
Text: 1 John 3:16-18
16. We know love, because he laid down his life for us; we also ought to lay down our lives for the brothers. 17. If anyone has the world's goods, and sees his brother in need, and closes his heart from him, how does the love of God abide in him? 18. Little children, let us not love in word or with the tongue, but in deed and in truth.
Let us remember:
Philanthropy, charity and other similar actions serve to give the joy of life to the recipients of donations. Foundations and the "local content within companies" component also carry out acts of generosity in society. Our society has understood the meaning of generosity for millennia. Even among capitalists, there is generosity. Giving is part of God's DNA implanted in humans. Giving is a mark of sympathy and a proof of sincere love. However, we must give without pride, without the intention of dominating, without stealing the dignity of the beneficiary. Giving must not hide an agenda behind the donor's head as the leaders of political parties do; the worst example not to follow. Those who lead us are unfortunately not the right model of sincere love because they take photos after helping people, then they publish them, which is the opposite of sincere love. Sincere love consists of giving without making public announcements. Let us not wait for people to come and ask us for help before giving. Giving must first rejoice the heart of the donor. Let us not make unfulfilled promises, each promise of donation must be fulfilled to maintain our credibility and live in sincere love. Let us not wait to have millions before starting to help our neighbor. Let us not close our hearts to the difficulty of others. To give to a man is to sow in the heart of God. Excellent Friday and good start to the weekend. Amen
