Theme: “Live your youth in sanctification" Text: Proverbs 1:8-17 8. Listen, my son, to your father's instruction, And do not reject your mother's teaching; 9. For it is a crown of grace for your head, And an adornment for your neck. 10. My son, if sinners want to seduce you, do not let yourself be won over. 11. If they say: Come with us! let us lay ambushes, let us shed blood, Let us lay snares for him who rests in vain on his innocence, 12. Let us swallow them up alive, like Hades, And whole, like those who go down into the pit; 13. We will find all kinds of precious goods, We will fill our houses with spoils; 14. You will have your share with us, There will be only one scholarship for all of us! 15. My son, do not walk with them, turn your foot away from their path; 16. For their feet run to evil, And they hasten to shed blood. 17. But in vain do we cast the net Before the eyes of all that have wings; Let's remember: The life of sanctification begins with attentive listening to the advice coming from ours. Beyond all counsel, the excellent counselor and teacher remains the Holy Spirit of God. This can speak to us through anyone including our parents. Let us be attentive to the advice and teachings that are given to us because from them will be born obedience and then sanctification. The young person must listen to good advice and not reject the teaching of the parents in order to receive the crown of grace for his head, but also the adornment for his neck. He must not allow himself to be seduced or won over by sinners. He must refuse the tortuous and compromising paths which defile his soul and distance him from sanctification. Bad company does not help, it corrupts good morals. Thus, one must refuse to associate with evildoers, robbers and the wicked. The only option is to love God with all your heart. Excellent Friday and good start into the weekend. Amen Alain Louz.-
