Theme: "Let your actions be in accordance with the Word of God"

Text: Acts 19:18-20

18. Many of those who believed came and confessed and declared what they had done. 19. And some of those who had practiced magic brought their books and burned them before everyone; and they calculated their value at fifty thousand pieces of silver. 20. So the word of the Lord grew in power and strength.

Let us remember:

It is the duty of the Christian to always confess and acknowledge his faults before God and before humans. When we preach, God touches the hearts of the audience who agree to follow Him. Thus, people leave the bad life to follow Jesus. They abandon magic, paganism, idolatry. They confess their sins and leave the old life. Out of a duty of obedience, we too must bring our burdens to God. Let us bring back to God everything that connects us to Satan. Agreeing to follow Jesus requires us to cut ties with the devil. Let us burn our perverse thoughts and our iniquitous projects. Let us burn our pornographic books, burn our deviant websites, burn our pagan chats, burn the vulgar social networks that lead us astray far from God. Let us agree to lose all the heritage coming from the devil so that we may be delivered from his yoke. If a person accepts Jesus but does not break away from his former satanic life, this proves that the person is still attached to his former master. Jesus must not suffer any breach, he must never share his glory with other divinities; not even with our ego. We must not put him in competition with Satan. This is how the word of the Lord will grow in power and strength. This is how our action will be in accordance with the Word of God. Excellent Wednesday. Amen
