Let us examine everything in order to retain what is good for the uplifting of the Church

Thursday August 31, 2023

Theme: “Let us examine everything in order to retain what is good for the uplifting of the Church Text: 2 Corinthians 13:5-9

5. Examine yourself to see if you are in the faith; test yourselves. Don't you recognize that Jesus Christ is in you? unless perhaps you are reprobate. 6. But I hope you'll recognize that we are not reprobate. 7. However, we pray to God that you will do no wrong, not to appear approved ourselves, but that you may do what is good and we may be reprobate. 8. For we have no power against the truth; we only care about the truth. 9. We rejoice when we are weak, while you are strong; and what we ask for in our prayers is your improvement.

Let's remember:

The Church would recover easily if each faithful took the bull by the horns. Nothing would be difficult if we accept the responsibility that is ours in the uplifting of the Church. In front of the law, we are condemned, rejected because our infidelity howls loudly against us. However, several communities, several entities, several families are led by reprobate leaders, damned in advance, pariahs, outlaws. Rejected also means excluded from eternal salvation. How would life return to a community doomed to destruction because of the misdirection of its leader? It is clear that the tone is always set by the leader, it is he who sets the "La", he inscribes the basis on which the community must evolve, he is the guarantor of the morality of the group and sets the tempo. How would such a medium know an ascendancy as the starting marks are tattooed with almost irremediable heavy faults? It is true that everyone must examine themselves to know where they come from and where they are going. Let's look at our walk with God and find our flaws in the light of God's Word and then straighten the shots. Entire families are overturned by reprobate parents. Entire generations of children are taken in the wrong direction because of movies and other cartoons beeped in advance to confuse all who would like them. Let us examine ourselves, to know if we are in the faith; let's experience ourselves. Is Jesus Christ in us? Are we reprobate? Certainly not! Let’s look forward to seeing our next move forward. Let us therefore make room for the King of glory to accompany us in the raising up of his Church. Excellent Thursday and good end of August. Amen Alain Louz.-
