Theme: “Let us examine everything in order to retain what is good for the uplifting of the Church Text: Ephesians 5:8-11

8. Once you were darkness, and now you are light in the Lord. Walk like children of light! 9. For the fruit of light consists of every kind of goodness, justice and truth. 10. Examine what is pleasing to the Lord; 11. and take no part in the fruitless works of darkness, but rather condemn them.

Let's remember:

Evil is growing in volume in our communities. Good works tend to disappear giving way to hypocrisy. We cannot generalize this trend even though the Bible predicted these end-time signs. Will we stick together to suffocate the evil in the midst of the body of Christ. Let's look into each other's eyes to banish hatred and discord. We are no longer darkness as we once were. From now on, we are light in the Lord. Let us walk as children of light in order to illuminate the darkness around us. Let us examine everything in order to retain what is good for the uplifting of the Church. Let us know that the Church needs our light to move forward and succeed in gaining the upper hand over evil (darkness). The devil is a tireless worker who multiplies strategies to harm us. By the strength of our Lord, let us take all offensive and defensive weapons to resist him and stand firm until the end of our earthly journey. Let's not admit defeat by the darkness. Rather let us show kindness, justice and truth. Let us not give in to the manipulations of demons who take the form of angels to lull us into sin. Let us discern all that is done around us and condemn the fruitless works of darkness. "Let whatever is true, whatever is honourable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever merits approval, whatever is virtuous and worthy of praise, be the object of our thoughts" (Philippians 4:8). It is written in 1 John 5:4, "because whatever is born of God overcomes the world; and the victory which overcomes the world is our faith". Excellent Tuesday. Amen Alain Louz.-
