Let us examine everything in order to retain what is good for the uplifting of the Church

Theme: “Let us examine everything in order to retain what is good for the uplifting of the Church Text: Isaiah 66:1-4

1. Thus says the LORD: Heaven is my throne, and the earth my footstool. What house could you build me, And what place would you give me to dwell? 2. All these things my hand hath made, And all have been made into being, saith the LORD. This is on whom I will look: On the one who suffers and who is crushed in spirit, On the one who fears my word. 3. He who immolates an ox is like one who would kill a man, He who sacrifices a lamb is like one who breaks the neck of a dog, He who presents an offering is like one who sheds pig's blood, He who burns with incense is like one who worships idols; All such delight in their ways, And their souls delight in their abominations. 4. I too will delight in their misfortune, And I will bring upon them that which causes them fear, Because I called, and they did not answer, Because I spoke, and they 'they did not listen; But they did what is wrong in my eyes, And they chose what I don't like.

Let's remember:

This is the best description given of the suffering God feels when we go before his face with offerings. The Lord would like to accept our sacrifices but we go there without respecting the prerequisites. Indeed, we must clean our hands before touching anything that we will put in our mouth. We also ensure that our children's hands are always clean before they eat. If we know how to do it for our physical natural life; it is just as normal to do so for our spiritual life. God does not accept to receive us before his face when we are unclean and filthy. He abhors sacrifices that precede sanctification. Let's reverse the procedure and we will make the Lord happy. Purify ourselves before going before the face of God to offer Him offerings. To build a house for the Lord to come there and commit idolatry and infidelity; God does not accept it. We build buildings that do not contribute to the upliftment of the Church since they offend God, nevertheless in the use that is made of them; and sometimes by looking at the origin of these funds. Let us examine everything in order to retain what is good for the uplifting of the Church. Do not do any action until it is in line with the will of God. The Lord looks down on him who suffers and is crushed in spirit, on him who fears his word. However, we rob the one who suffers to bring his goods to God. We do not spare those who suffer. We sink him into his suffering. Many communities have funds in hand, but they rob members every day instead of creating NGOs which would raise the standard of living of the members and therefore of the community. Let us embellish our inner spiritual life by obedience to Christ, this is the primary axis expected by God, the rest will follow. Excellent Monday. Amen Alain Louz.-
