Let us examine all things and retain what is pleasing to God in his Church

Wednesday March 2, 2022

Theme : “ Let us examine all things and retain what is pleasing to God in his Church Text : 1 John 4:1-3

1. Beloveds, do not believe every spirit; but try the spirits, whether they are of God, for many false prophets have come into the world. 2. Recognize by this the Spirit of God: every spirit that confesses Jesus Christ come in the flesh is of God; 3. and any spirit that does not confess Jesus is not of God, it is that of the antichrist, whose coming you have learned, and who is already in the world now.

Let's remember:

The Christian world runs the risk of going adrift if we do not redouble our attention. The evil one is a cunning worker; he multiplies the strategies to trap the children of God. Let's not admit defeat, on the contrary, let's redouble our vigilance to detect any infiltration. Let us bring forward the Spirit of God so that it enlightens our discernment. We cannot try the spirits if we do not associate with the Holy Spirit of God. The devil has already managed to infiltrate the local churches through the workers and the faithful. If a message does not confess Jesus, it is not from God. Remember that the center of our faith is Jesus. The star of the Church is Jesus. When someone would like to gain the upper hand over Jesus, without a doubt, he is sent on a mission by the devil to destroy the work of God. The devil also opens the Bible and speaks verses. However, he does not do so to repent or to further the work of God; it is to divert the attention of the Church and to trap the people of God. He always cuts out the most important bits of the verses. Let not the beauty of the message and the eloquence of the speaker deceive us; discern everything. Excellent Wednesday. Amen Alain Louz.-
