Theme : " Let's say no to perversion in the Church "
Text : 2 Corinthians 7:1
1. Having therefore such promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from every defilement of flesh and spirit, completing our sanctification in the fear of God.
Let's remember:
The human has several facets that contradict each other in everyday life. We have a visible attitude and an attitude buried in the heart that no one can guess except God. To this is added the declarations of our mouths which represent a 3rd position making the 2 others irreconcilable. This also constitutes the facets of the defilements of the flesh and the spirit. Let us reconcile the thoughts of our heart with the actions we take. Thus, our language must be synchronized with our heart. Let us purify our individual conduct and also purify the inner state of our heart. When the Lord reviews our life, let him not notice a duality between our language and our visible conduct. Psalms 17:3 "You examine my heart, you visit it at night, you put me to the test, and you find nothing: my thought is no different from what comes out of my mouth". Sanctification must take precedence over everything. It must be perpetual and therefore permanent. May God not find perversion in our life. Let the idea of perversion not torment our minds. Let us love God and flee from perversion in all its forms. Excellent Wednesday. Amen Alain Louz.-
