Theme : " Leaning on God's Faithfulness "
Text : 2 Thessalonians 3:1-3
1. Moreover, brethren, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may be spread and glorified as it is among you, 2. and that we may be delivered from wicked and perverse men; because not everyone has faith. 3. The Lord is faithful, he will strengthen you and preserve you from evil.
Let's remember:
Jesus Christ had made a promise to his disciples: Luke 12:11. "When you are brought before the synagogues, the magistrates and the authorities, do not worry about how you will defend yourself or what you will say; 12. for the Holy Spirit will teach you in that very hour what he will have to say." Our Lord knew that the world would not leave the disciples in peace; they will be persecuted everywhere. It was in this that he had promised them his assistance, his support during trials. Yes Jesus always comes to comfort us, instruct us, guide us and deliver us in every fight. No Christian has ever been alone in the face of the enemy; abandoned to its sad fate; we have help from our Lord God who is faithful in all his promises. Jesus knows the importance of help as it is written in Hebrews 2: 18. "For, having been tempted himself in what he suffered, he can help those who are tempted". Lean on the faithfulness of God. Excellent Tuesday of confidence. Amen Alain Louz.-
