Theme: "Jesus Christ is seated at the right hand of God to help us" Text: Romans 8:31-34
31. What then shall we say of these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? 32. He, who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all, how will he not also give us all things with him? 33. Who will accuse God's elect? It is God who justifies! 34. Who will condemn them? Christ died; much more, he is risen, he is at the right hand of God, and he intercedes for us!
Let's remember:
During our weak beginnings, we need a support, a support that is able to help us move forward flawlessly. Jesus is our support, the support that never fails in distress. In difficult times, we have strong confidence in him. When our accuser would come to want to sow discord with our God, we already have a public defender who is in charge of our file. He defends us before the Father. And God justifies us from all these accusations but also from all our iniquities. Jesus helps us in our weakness, because we don't know what to ask for in our prayers. But Jesus himself intercedes for us, with inexpressible sighs. He who knows the heart of God, he lays all our requests on the Father's table. His plea is so powerful that there is no longer any condemnation for those who are defended by Jesus. The incursions of the evil one will not weaken our commitment because we have Jesus seated at the right hand of God to help us. Thus in all things of life, we are more than conquerors through him who loved us and who intercedes for us, at the right hand of the Father. Excellent Sunday in Christ. Amen Alain Louz.-
