Theme: "Jesus Christ is seated at the right hand of God to help us" Text: Hebrews 4:14-16
14. So, since we have a great high priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus, the Son of God, let us stand firm in the faith that we profess. 15. For we have not a high priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses; on the contrary, he was tempted like us in all things, without committing sin. 16. Let us therefore approach boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace, to succor in our need.
Let's remember:
Before the Word of God, we are all guilty; no one can lift their finger and say they are sinless. But when we rely on the work of Christ on the cross, his priesthood becomes a strong helper for our infirmities. This is why each child of God must find his help from Jesus who is available to do so since it is his mission, from the height of his throne. Jesus crossed the heavens leaving the earth where he lived without sinning. He can therefore help us in the strengthening by giving us the keys to a life of sanctification like his. Let us go to Him, ask Him for the codes of a sinless life. Let us ask for his help and put into practice what he tells us. Jesus is the help we need to have to fight against our infirmities, our infidelities, which are growing day after day. He is our helper because he is the only one who could rejoice the heart of the Father in terms of obedience. Henceforth he is seated at the right hand of the Majesty, crowned with glory and honour, with a name above every name, having all things under his feet, and there he appears before the face of God for us help in our infirmities. The most excellent help given to us is grace. Grace brings us before the Father for mercy. Let us take the time to approach the Holy Throne with humility and assurance. It is before the throne that Jesus awaits us to help us. Excellent Saturday. Amen Alain Louz.-
