In the arms of the Father

Tuesday September 7, 2021

Theme : " In the arms of the Father " Text : Psalms 103: 8-14

8. The LORD is gracious and full of compassion, slow to anger, and rich in loving kindness; 9. He does not challenge constantly, He does not keep his anger forever; 10. He does not treat us according to our sins, He does not punish us according to our iniquities. 11. But as the heavens are high above the earth, so great is his mercy to those who fear him; 12. As far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us. 13. As a father has compassion on his children, so the Lord has compassion on those who fear him. 14. For he knows what we are made of, he remembers that we are dust.

Let us remember :

If God looked at our sins, no one would have stayed alive on this earth. Sin would have decimated all mankind. When the world exhales the stench of sin; God responds with love. The Lord God is merciful and compassionate, slow to anger and rich in kindness. Despite the evil we do, He does not keep anger against us because He forgives and justifies us. His kindness is great for those who are in his arms. He fights the sin that threatens to devour our lives. God is our Father, so He has compassion on us. It is God who is our creator; He knows all our weaknesses, He anticipates our errors and sponges our vacillations because of his compassion. It is by remaining in his arms that these immense privileges smile on us. Excellent Tuesday. Amen Alain Louz.-
