Theme: “Growth in faith“
Text: 2 Corinthians 10:15-16
15 So we do not boast of the works of others which are beyond our bounds. But we have the hope, if your faith increases, to see our work grow even more among you, in our own field of action. 16 We can then evangelize the regions beyond you without boasting of the work already done by others in their own field.
Remember:
One of the main characteristics of growth in faith is humility. A person who wants to advance in faith must learn to disappear in order to make Jesus Christ appear in his place. John the Baptist knew how to respect this order of things when he declared: "He must increase, and I must decrease." John 3:30. Let's not stop working and fall into complacency as if Jesus had already returned to judge the world. Our work is a vocation that will only end when we face our Lord; either by death or by judgment. Let us not appropriate the efforts of the work of others but let each work without competing with his colleague within the work of God. Let's stick together and strengthen unity within the body of Christ. Don't put banana peels in other people's way. Nor is it good to show off by falling into pettiness that will not make us grow. Let us be humble and experience growth in faith from God. Excellent Monday. Amen Alain Louz.-
