Theme: “God with us»
Text: John 1:9-13
9. This light was the true light, which, coming into the world, enlightens every man. 10. She was in the world, and the world was made by her, and the world did not know her. 11. She came to her own, and her own did not receive her. 12. But to all who received him, to them that believed in his name, he gave power to become children of God, who were born, 13. not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.
Let's remember:
God is our light. It is He who illuminates our lives darkened by sin. When dark intentions manage to dethrone holiness in the lives of God's children; it is his light that illuminates our guilt to the point of convicting us of sin, judgment and righteousness. God is our light; he is a lamppost at our feet, a light on our path according to Psalms 119:105. When we lack intelligence, common sense, wisdom; the God of light comes to light our lantern. This is where we feel, as in a dream, the sudden emergence of brilliant ideas. Beware of us; let us not reject this light which shines brighter than the sun when it is at its zenith. God with us is the dazzling light that dispels the shadows and dissuades the penumbra from obscuring our faith. Let's not be among those who have not received the light. Let us preserve our received light which made us children of God because we were born not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. Excellent Wednesday in the light. Amen
