Theme: "God upholds the righteous."

Text: Proverbs 10:1-3

1. Proverbs of Solomon. A wise son brings joy to a father, but a foolish son brings grief to a mother. 2. Treasures of wickedness do not profit, but righteousness delivers from death. 3. The Lord does not allow the righteous to go hungry, but he repels the greed of the wicked.

Let us remember:

God is faithful. All his promises are fulfilled. They can extend over several generations, even down to great-grandchildren. This is why we must be righteous in our walk with God because the benefits of our good behavior can extend over several generations. Every child must be wise to bring joy to their father. If it is not, it will bring shame back into the family circle. Our mothers live with sorrow when they see certain behaviors that leave something to be desired. Let us know that the treasures of wickedness do not profit. Likewise, ill-gotten gains do not profit. Let us work and live by the sweat of our brow without extortion or swindling. If we walk in righteousness, even the devil's traps will have no impact on us because our righteousness will plead for us to the point of delivering us from death. The righteous are well taken care of by God so as not to suffer the same fate as the wicked. The Lord does not let the righteous suffer hunger, but he repels the greed of the wicked. The righteous cannot be treated like a wicked person otherwise God's righteousness would lose its value. The righteous benefits from God's favors to encourage their efforts and obedience, fruits of God's grace. Let us not give up if we are surrounded by unjust people; But let's continue to be fair. Have a great Thursday. Amen.
