God's Blessings to His People

Theme: "God's Blessings to His People" Text: Leviticus 26:3-13

3. If you follow my laws, if you keep my commandments and put them into practice, 4. I will send you rains in their season, the earth will yield its crops, and the trees of the field will yield their fruit. 5. Hardly will you have threshed the wheat that you will touch the vintage, and the vintage will reach the sowing; you will eat your bread to satiety, and you will dwell in safety in your country. 6. I will put peace in the land, and no one will disturb your sleep; I will drive away the wild beasts from the land, and the sword will not pass through your land. 7. You will pursue your enemies, and they will fall before you by the sword. 8. Five of you will chase a hundred, and a hundred of you will chase ten thousand, and your enemies will fall before you by the sword. 9. I will turn to you, I will make you fruitful and I will multiply you, and I will maintain my covenant with you. 10. You will eat old crops, and you will take out the old to make room for the new. 11. I will make my home among you, and my soul will not abhor you. 12. I will walk among you, I will be your God, and you will be my people. 13. I am the LORD your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, who brought you out of bondage; I broke the bonds of your yoke, and made you walk with your head uplifted.

Let's remember:

Our God is never absent. He honors his commitments and always keeps his promises. It is He, the Eternal, our God, who has brought us out of the slavery of sin, of poverty, of eternal loss, of paganism, in short, the God who has taken us out of bondage; who broke the bonds of our yoke, and made us walk with our heads lifted. He has granted us various blessings as we struggle to obey Him. Despite our hesitation, the Lord does not back down but calls us to a change of life and mentality so that he does more things in us. This is why he asks us to change our minds, to follow him and to serve him if we want to live a spiritual, health, financial, material, social and family improvement. If we follow his laws, and keep his commandments by putting them into practice, Yahweh will send us rains in their season, the earth will yield its produce, and the trees of the field will yield their fruit. It will not be devastating rains but they will be proportional to the needs of the soils, the rivers, the populations... Rains that would not destroy the crops. Rains that would not flood cities. Rains that wouldn't pull the rivers out of their beds. Rains that would even correct the pH of the soil to accelerate the maturation of seeds. Such rains are a blessing for the people because they supply the farmers and breeders and therefore fill the basket of the housewife. In addition to rains, God will bring peace, drive away wild beasts. God will crush our enemies and make wars disappear, he will multiply us and maintain his covenant with us. God will furnish our attic and our provisions will be infinite since he will walk among us, he will be our God, and we will be his people. Excellent Thursday. Amen Alain Louz.-
