God's Blessings to His People

Monday August 21, 2023

Theme: "God's Blessings to His People" Text: Genesis 26:12-14

12. Isaac sowed in this land, and he gathered in this year a hundredfold; for the Lord blessed him. 13. This man became rich, and he got richer and richer, until he became very rich. 14. He had herds of flocks and herds of herds, and many servants: so the Philistines were envious of him.

Let's remember:

Even in a hostile environment, full of quarrels, the Eternal does not change his plan of the game. When he has planned to bless a man or a people, he will do so; even if it means arousing the jealousy of the Philistines. It is obvious and clear that God cares for his people, no matter the context. One who bears the mark of God manifested by blessing; that one will never fail. He could sow even on the rocks, the seed will bear fruit, and even much fruit. The problem is not the bearer of blessing but it is God who advances any work that passes through the hand of such a man. The only thing we have to do is to be active and operational; the rest will come from the throne of God. The Lord the Eternal accompanies each work of our hands in order to make it prosper. God's blessings for his people are limitless. They extend over several generations, so that the people belonging to God remain in blessing, whatever the generations. By his work, each person can plant, sow and reap an abundant harvest but he who is part of the people of God, reaps a hundredfold to the great surprise of non-Christians. The people of God sow and reap a hundredfold, this is their mark of blessing received from God. They may plant in the same land and side by side, but at the harvest God will mark the difference with the unbeliever. This is where Malachi 3 says: 18. "And you will again see the difference Between the righteous and the wicked, Between the one who serves God And the one who does not serve him." Excellent Monday. Amen Alain Louz.-
