Theme: “God loves you and offers you a wonderful plan for your life”
Text: Jeremiah 29:11-14
11. For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and hope. 12. You will call on me and go; you will pray to me, and I will answer you. 13. You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart. 14. I will let myself be found by you, declares the Lord, and I will bring back your captivity; I will gather you from all nations and from all places where I have driven you, declares the Lord, and I will bring you back to the place from which I caused you to be carried away captive.
Let us remember:
Some truths hidden in these verses are an ignored gold mine. Indeed, all blessings are the fruit of prayer. It is with God that we can find all kinds of blessings but this goes through the mold of prayer. We must invoke and pray to God, then leave. Once the prayer is well done, we can no longer worry because the rest will follow. God has such a wonderful plan for us that he can never forget us. In his love, he will answer us according to his schedule. It all begins with our motivation to find God's love. We must seek God with all our heart and soul. It is therefore written: "You will seek me, and you will find me, if you seek me with all your heart". God's plan may be wonderful for us but it will only be accomplished for children who know how to wait in prayer. Waiting must be done in prayer, obedience and perseverance. Whoever waits in distraction cannot see this wonderful plan for his life. Let us be prudent and faithful to God's instructions. If we seek Him, we will find Him. God will let Himself be found by us, and He will bring back our captives. He will gather us from all nations and from all places where He had driven us, and He will bring us back to His house. Let us not think that God forgets His promises, no! He knows the plans He has formed for us. These plans are better than ours. They are plans of peace and not of misfortune, in order to give us a future and hope. Excellent Sunday. Amen
