Theme: "God loves you and offers you a wonderful plan for your life"
Text: Zephaniah 3:15-17
15. The Lord has turned away your punishments, He has removed your enemy; The King of Israel, the Lord, is in your midst; You will no longer have to experience misfortune. 16. In that day, it will be said to Jerusalem: Do not be afraid! Zion, do not let your hands be weak. 17. The Lord, your God, is in your midst, like a mighty one who saves; He will make you his greatest joy; He will keep silence in his love; He will have transports of joy for you.
Let us remember:
The Lord God corrects all those who want to harm us. Those who murmur against us behind our backs, will cross God on their path. Even though they are reckless, God is more powerful than their crazy designs. Every day and always, God wakes us up with a wonderful renewed plan for our lives. He lines up blessings alongside us so that we delight in them. This is how God turns away our punishments, He keeps our enemies away. Doesn’t He tell us to fear nothing and to take courage? It is because His presence in our lives is enough for us. God is our inheritance, He is our self-sufficiency. When we have God, we no longer lack anything because we have everything in Him. Nothing can be lacking to the one who has God as Lord and personal Savior. Since the Lord is in our midst; we no longer have any misfortune to experience. God has a wonderful plan for our lives; He trains our hands for war, and our fingers for battle. Furthermore, even when the enemy would like to knock us down, it is God who confronts him through us. Let us therefore fear nothing because God's plan for us is unfailing. God loves us and offers us a wonderful plan for our life. God is our hero; each of our victories comes from Him. Conversely, we are nothing without Him. The devil would crush us if we stray from God's wonderful plan. Let us not expose ourselves to the devil's wrath. Let us not stray from God's plan if we want to experience transports of joy. Excellent Saturday. Amen.
