God loves us

Saturday December 31, 2022

Theme: “God loves us» Text: Jeremiah 31:1-7

1. At that time, saith the LORD, I will be the God of all the families of Israel, and they shall be my people. 2. Thus says the LORD: He has found grace in the wilderness, the people of those who have escaped the sword; Israel marches to its resting place. 3. The Lord shows himself to me from afar: I love you with an everlasting love; That's why I keep my goodness to you. 4. I will restore you again, and you will be restored, Virgin of Israel! You will still have your tambourines for adornment, And you will go out in the midst of joyful dances. 5. You will again plant vineyards on the mountains of Samaria; The planters will plant, and pick the fruit. 6. For the day is coming when the watchmen will cry on mount Ephraim: 7. Arise, let us go up to Zion, to the LORD our God! For thus says the LORD: Shout for joy over Jacob, Shout for joy at the head of the nations. Lift up your voices, sing praises, and say: Lord, deliver your people, the remnant of Israel!

Remember:

God loves us as He did with Israel, granting deliverance to the remnant of His people; as He will do for us, bringing us back from the captivity of sin. We will find rest from our fears, from our wanderings and then we will enter into his eternity in Christ Jesus. For this, God must be reinstalled in our hearts because formerly sin had dislodged him. Confession and true repentance are the moral path to restoration. God loves us, thus He will fulfill his three (3) noble promises: - of unity among peoples; - of the new covenant; - the restoration of our lives, our countries, our projects, our families, in short the reconstruction of our existence by centering it on Jesus Christ. The favors of the new covenant will be won by the power of the blood of Christ. Thus, joy will burst into our lands; it will settle in our hearts and take full control of our emotions. Our faith and our obedience will be under divine control. God loves us! Thank you Lord for this finished year. May you renew your favors for us for 2023. Amen Alain Louz.-
