Theme: “God loves us»
Text: 1 John 3:1-3
1. See what love the Father has shown us, so that we are called children of God! And we are. If the world doesn't know us, it's because it didn't know him. 2. Beloved, we are now children of God, and what we will be has not yet been manifested; but we know that when it is manifested, we will be like him, because we will see him as he is. 3. Whoever has this hope in him purifies himself, as he himself is pure.
Remember:
The love of God extends over all generations since he created the world. Even when the Eternal God rebukes us or chastises us, he does so out of love; in the interest of bringing us back to Him. He would have called us his subjects or his creatures that would not be an enormity; but it pleased him to call us his children. It is already a privilege to be a child of the creator God; and to know that he loves us with a great love. Where would we find such selfless love? Who could love us relentlessly and unconditionally? His love is so strong and powerful that he gave even his only son to save the world. God places us in the rank of children, that is to say those who are born of Him; such intimacy proves that we are above other creatures. Strengthened by this filial relationship, we have the obligation to sanctify ourselves because our Father is holy. We must resemble Him in order to truly be children of God. God's unfailing love opens its arms to us to give us an opportunity to come back to Him when we get lost in the parking lot of sin. Excellent Monday. Amen Alain Louz.-
