Theme: “Give thanks to God for his blessings“
Text: 1 Corinthians 1:4
4. I give thanks to my God continually for you, for the grace of God which has been granted to you in Jesus Christ.
Remember:
Paul gave continual thanks to God for the favors he granted to his brothers and sisters in the city of Corinth. He rejoiced to see the work of God in their lives. Let us learn to rejoice in the graces and happiness of our neighbour. Do not suffer to see others being taken care of by God. On the contrary, let us give thanks to the Eternal God for his benefits in the life of ours. The take-home message here is that we must give continual thanksgiving for thanksgiving; the benefits that do not concern us directly. It is up to us to give thanks for the blessings of God in the lives of others. Let us give continuous thanksgiving to God for country, family, children, brothers and sisters, friends and acquaintances, and even our enemies. Let us give thanks to God for the graces granted in Jesus Christ to those who hate us. May our whole existence be a subject of thanksgiving. Excellent Friday and good start into the weekend.
