Theme: “Give thanks to God for his blessings» Text: Psalms 100:1-5

1. Psalm of praise. Shout for joy to the Lord, all you inhabitants of the earth! 2. Serve the Lord with joy, Come with joy in his presence! 3. Know that the Lord is God! It is he who made us, and we belong to him; We are his people, and the flock of his pasture. 4. Enter her gates with praise, Into her courts with hymns! Celebrate him, bless his name! 5. For the LORD is good; his kindness endures forever, And his faithfulness from generation to generation.

Let's remember:

We have every reason to give thanks to God. Every creature must cry out for joy to God its creator. Every inhabitant must express his gratitude to the Eternal King. Unfortunately, the cries that reach the ears of the Eternal are only cries of distress. As if God didn't work wonders in our midst. When we are in need, we cry out to God. On the other hand, during moments of joy, we are ungrateful, we lack gratitude. Now, we must shout for joy as a sign of thanksgiving to God. We must go into his presence with cries of joy, dances of joy. To the place of him who created us, let us give thanks and remain faithful to his precepts. There are many ways to give thanks: we can sing praises, we can raise prayers of thanksgiving; we can read His Word; we can celebrate him, we can bless his holy name; we can profess expressions of thanksgiving to the King of kings. Let us not forget that obedience to God and charitable actions are also expressions of thanksgiving. Just to see his kindness and fidelity, one can only humbly give thanks.
