20. Give thanks continually for all things to God the Father, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ,

Remember:

To give thanks to God is to attribute an action to Him. It is also to thank Him, to show Him our gratitude. It is a form of gratitude, an elegant gesture of high craftsmanship which is also proof of propriety and good education. Giving thanks should not be a forcing but a daily and perpetual life. We do not have to strain memory to succeed in giving thanks; but it must be an automatism developed and maintained like the gesture of breathing. No one forces the breath except in cases of extreme illness or suffocation. Our breathing happens without our noticing. The subjects for which we must give thanks are many and varied. Indeed, we must give thanks for everything. Let's not sort out the subjects of thanksgiving. It is easier to give thanks for all that we experience on a daily basis. For what annoys us, what cheers us up, what delights us, what upsets us. We're instructed to do it in the precious Name of Jesus Christ. Let's develop that life of giving thanks to God in the Name of Jesus Christ. Excellent month of January. Amen Alain Louz.-
