Theme: “Future Judgments of Christ's Return“
Text: Romans 14:10-12
10. But you, why do you judge your brother? or you, why do you despise your brother? since we will all appear before the judgment seat of God. 11. For it is written: As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow before me, and every tongue shall give glory to God. 12. Thus each of us will give an account to God for himself.
Let's remember:
In turn, we will all file before the tribunal of God. Regardless of race or religion, everyone will account for their entire earthly pilgrimage. What frightens is that no excuse will be accepted. Our loopholes will not be valid. God warns us in advance, let us make all our arrangements now in order to be justified. Among the provisions to be taken, there is that of not setting oneself up as a judge for our neighbor even when his guilt is implacable. Let's not create a private court in our thoughts, rather let's be compassionate and pray for each other. Let us help each other according to the grace that God gives us to be stronger than the others. Romans 15:1. “We who are strong must bear the weaknesses of those who are not, and not indulge in ourselves. 2. Let each of us please our neighbor in what is good for building up”. Today's weak can become tomorrow's strong or vice versa; so why do we judge our neighbour? Excellent Thursday. Amen Alain Louz.-
