Theme: “Future Judgments of Christ's Return“
Text: Matthew 25:31-33
31. When the Son of Man comes in his glory, with all the angels, he will sit on the throne of his glory. 32. All nations will be assembled before him. He will separate one from another, as the shepherd separates the sheep from the goats; 33. And he will put the sheep on his right hand, and the goats on his left hand.
Let's remember:
This is not a simulation, it is not a figment of the mind, nor is it a theatrical script nor a fiction; but it is rather the announcement of the judgment of the living. This is not the Last Judgment Apoc is talking about. 20:11-15 and which will take place when heaven and earth have fled away; in other words: the judgment of the dead. The judgment here brings forth those who are dead in their state of sin; they were raised to appear before God and be judged according to their works. There is always a verdict in every judgment. The one who will read the verdict that day is the same one who asks us today to regulate our conduct accordingly. It would have been at school, that we would talk about leakage of materials because the Lord has already given us the materials that will come to the exam. We already know everything, and we are sure that this day will surprise us. We also know that there will be a sorting out between those who have obeyed the commandments and those who have disobeyed. What side will we be on? The answer is individual. From today and now, let us use the time that is given to us in order to better work out our salvation. If the present time of probation is real, so is the time of the coming judgment. He who is ready awaits this judgment with joy and eagerness. Excellent Wednesday. Amen Alain Louz.-
