Theme : " From the agony to the resurrection of Jesus Christ "
Text : Luke 22:7-13
7. The day of unleavened bread, when the Passover was to be sacrificed, came, 8. and Jesus sent Peter and John, saying, Go and prepare the Passover for us, that we may eat it. 9. They said to him: Where do you want us to prepare it? 10. He answered them, Behold, when you have entered into the city, you will meet a man bearing a pitcher of water; follow him into the house where he will enter, 11. and say to the master of the house, The master said to you, Where is the place where I will eat the Passover with my disciples? 12. And he will show you a large upper room, furnished: there you will prepare the Passover. 13. They departed, and found things as he had told them; and they prepared the Passover.
Let's remember:
There were many people who gave their property, furniture and buildings to Jesus for useful purposes. This is proof that some hearts had received Jesus as Lord, others as Saviour, and still others both. God's plan for the redemption of mankind was already well established in the kingdom of God. We witness its unboxing during the ongoing events. Things are so fluid that we believe we are witnessing a previously prepared staging. That's what happens when you let God take charge. Let's leave the doors of our lives and those of our families open to Jesus so that he can settle there permanently. Not just to prepare for Easter but to live in it now without interruptions. The man with the pitcher can be a clue to lead us to the place prepared by God for centuries in order to meet Jesus; eat with Him at the Lord's table. The entry of Jesus remains triumphal even in the house of a stranger. In what form will he enter our lives: destitute, hungry, thirsty, stranger, sick, prisoner? Let Christ then make his triumphal entry into our lives, our jobs, families... Excellent Tuesday of hospitality. Amen Alain Louz.-
