Fraternity, one of the facets of communion

Sunday March 19, 2023

Theme: “Fraternity, one of the facets of communion Text: Psalms 133:1-3

1. Behold, oh! how pleasant it is, how sweet it is for brothers to dwell together! 2. It is like the precious oil which, poured over the head, Descends on the beard, on Aaron's beard, Which descends on the edge of his garments. 3. It is like the dew of Hermon, Which descends upon the mountains of Zion; For it is there that the Eternal sends the blessing, Life, for eternity.

Let's remember:

When the fraternity is well established, cohesion takes place, in harmony and a peaceful atmosphere. Everything becomes fluid and smooth like the flow of oil when it is poured on the head. It flows without obstacle and therefore without stopping until it reaches its point of fall. The communion results, among other things, from an excellent fraternity, one that is without hindrance and without internal struggles. Such relationships do not know low blows. Let's make our fraternity a priesthood, a consecration if we really want it to be one of the facets of communion. Let us value fraternity and preserve it so that it is well oiled. Let's put purity in the brotherhood because the oil represents purity but also wisdom. Oil, like brotherhood, is the symbol of joy (Isa 61:3), prosperity (Deut 33:24), sweet words (Pr 5:3), friendship (Ps 133 :1). The fraternity must be well maintained so as not to break the communion. Likewise, the oil is best kept in its vial or in a horn so as not to spill it and create a huge loss. The oil brings a good taste to the meal, in the same way the brotherhood is a good condiment for the communion. As the oil overflows, so must the fraternity overflow to beautify communion. Fellowship survives through the Holy Spirit. Excellent Sunday. Amen Alain Louz.-
