Theme: “Fraternity, one of the facets of communion“
Text: 2 Corinthians 13:13-14
13. (13:12b) All saints salute you. 14. (13:13) The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God, and the communication of the Holy Spirit, be with you all!
Let's remember:
The greeting is a communication that marks the sympathy, respect and consideration that one feels towards a person. It marks fraternity and friendship, joy and the wish to see your neighbor have a successful day. A simple greeting can change a whole day that seemed dull. There are greetings that reconcile people who were cold. A greeting is in itself a wish and almost a prayer because it is a question of saying Shaloom (peace) or good morning, good evening, good night, good morning in short, it is a form of civility and soothing propriety. That is why in brotherhood we must greet each other. Paul even recommends that we season our greeting with a holy kiss; which marks an additional point in communication: affection. When we greet our neighbor with such respect coupled with sincere love, we bless him. Fraternity is preserved by small gestures that speak volumes. A very well managed fraternity establishes communion because it is the result of sincere love. Let's greet each other every time and bless each other at all times. In North American civilization, when someone sneezes, they are told: “God bless you”. Excellent Wednesday. Amen Alain Louz.-
