Theme: "Fighting corruption for sustainable development" Text: 2 Timothy 3:1-5

1. Know that in the last days there will be difficult times. 2. For men will be selfish, lovers of money, boastful, haughty, blasphemers, rebellious to parents, ungrateful, irreligious, 3. insensitive, disloyal, slanderers, intemperate, cruel, enemies of good people, 4. traitors , heady, puffed up, loving pleasure more than God, 5. having a form of godliness, but denying its strength. Stay away from these men.

Let's remember:

Our tech-ridden modern age is no exception to those we find in the Bible that had no tech. On the contrary, technologies have favored and facilitated the rapprochement with certain sins, including corruption. Times are difficult because the heart of man is inclined more to do evil than to do good. Selfishness is very visible everywhere, everyone wants to crush the other. The lure of profit has increased, leading many impatient to satanic practices in lodges and other networks selling human organs. There is an upsurge in pride, slander, rebellion, blasphemy, callousness, strife, embezzlement, pedophilia, incest and the list is long and not exhaustive. Only God can bring us back to the right path because our hearts have become too hard. Corruption easily sets in in a selfish heart without love for the neighbor. The corrupt want to have everything for themselves and nothing for their neighbour. He prefers to serve money (Mammon) instead of serving God. Parents have lost their influence over children, especially when they are not exemplary in front of their children. The corrupt is characterized by cunning, malice, theft, pride, lying, greed, ingratitude, selfishness, callousness, cruelty, wickedness... Proverbs 4:23. "Guard your heart more than anything else, for from it come the springs of life." Excellent Thursday. Amen Alain Louz.-
