Theme: "Fear the coming judgment"
Text: Isaiah 13: 9-14
9. Behold, the day of the LORD cometh, a cruel day, a day of wrath and fierce anger, which will make the earth desolate, and destroy its sinners out of it. 10. For the stars of the heavens and their stars will no longer make their light shine; the sun will be darkened when it rises, and the moon will no longer make its light shine. 11. I will punish the world for their wickedness, and the wicked for their iniquities; I will put an end to the pride of the haughty, And I will overthrow the arrogance of the tyrants. 12. I will make men rarer than fine gold; I will make them rarer than gold of Ophir. 13. Therefore I will shake the heavens, and the earth at its base will be shaken by the wrath of the LORD of hosts, in the day of his fierce anger. 14. Then, like a frightened gazelle, like a flock without a shepherd, each will turn to his people, each will flee to his own land;
Let us remember :
Day and night, the Lord our God calls us to a radical change. Each person must leave the path of evil to follow the path of salvation which is in Christ Jesus by means of his Word. As long as we remain insensitive to God's instructions; we run the risk of suffering his wrath. God will destroy this world and everything in it. Noah's generation had been wiped out because of the growing stubbornness. Likewise, Sodom and Gomorrah had suffered the wrath of God. Entire cities had already been wiped off the world map for failing to obey divine instructions. It's time to change our minds and change your life. Let us repent and let go of evil in order to practice good. Let us not be forgetful listeners if not the judgment will surprise us. Excellent Monday. Amen Alain Louz.-
