Theme : " Do not neglect your relationship with God, for the blessing of your posterity depends on it " Text : Genesis 26: 1-6
1. There was a famine in the land besides the first famine which was in the days of Abraham; and Isaac went to Abimelech king of the Philistines at Gerar. 2. The LORD appeared to him, and said, Go not down into Egypt; stay in the land that I will tell thee of. 3. Sojourn in this land: I will be with you, and I will bless you, for I will give all these countries to you and to your seed, and I will keep the oath that I swore to Abraham your father. 4. I will multiply your seed as the stars in the sky; I will give to your seed all these countries; and all the nations of the earth shall be blessed in thy seed, 5. because Abraham obeyed my voice, and kept my commandments, my commandments, my statutes, and my laws. 6. And Isaac remained in Gerar.
Let us remember :
Let us embellish our relationship with Yahweh so that our posterity benefits from it on a daily basis. If our works and our faith are good, if we sanctify ourselves, God will make a blessed road for us and ours. Let us not neglect our intimacy with God at the risk of being strangers in our own country. All our good works are not extinguished, they follow our offspring. God's blessing cannot be limited in time or in generations. The book of memories is not only used on the last day, it is also used every day, every generation. Let us act well before God so that God makes us explore new horizons. Excellent Thursday. Amen Alain Louz.-
