Do not neglect your relationship with God, for the blessing of your posterity depends on it

Monday 28 June 2021

Theme : " Do not neglect your relationship with God, for the blessing of your posterity depends on it " Text : 2 Samuel 7: 12-16

12. When your days are fulfilled, and you are lying with your fathers, I will lift up your seed after you, who is come out of your bowels, and I will establish his kingdom. 13. He shall build an house for my name, and I will establish the throne of his kingdom forever. 14. I will be a father to him, and he will be a son to me. If he does evil, I will chastise him with the rod of men and with the blows of the children of men; 15. But my grace will not depart from him, as I took it from Saul, whom I rejected before you. 16. Your house and your kingdom will be secure forever; your throne will be established forever.

Let us remember :

There is nothing but happiness in serving God. When we do a “clean sheet” in the service of God, the fallout is endless expanding even after we leave this world. What we do with Christ should not be taken lightly. Let us get involved, put our heart to work to improve our life; but also the work of God. David gave so much of himself that he emerged triumphant; he is called man after the heart of God. His posterity came to enjoy the work he had done faithfully. So, do not neglect our relationship with God if we are to live the blessings of God; if we want our offspring to inherit them. Sanctify ourselves and our own as well. Let us mark the way to eternity in Christ. Excellent Monday. Amen Alain Louz.-
