Theme: “Divine Wisdom”
Text: James 1:5-6
5. If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives to all simply and without reproach, and it will be given to him. 6. But let him ask it in faith, without doubting; for he who doubts is like the wave of the sea, tossed by the wind and driven from side to side.
Let's remember:
Wisdom is the quality of a person who demonstrates right, sure, informed judgment in his decisions and his actions. It is the quality of the person who acts with prudence and moderation. But divine wisdom is balanced knowledge, natural or acquired from experiences, inspired by God. It is an attribute of God and a spiritual quality. Among the spiritual gifts, we have that of wisdom which allows us to discern good from evil. In any situation, let us know that God has a solution that is by far the most suitable. We need divine wisdom to understand it. Divine wisdom is one of the most precious gifts because it is through it that we manage to guide someone. Every spiritual gift needs divine wisdom to act faithfully according to the mind of God. If any of us lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives to all simply and without reproach, and it will be given to him. Only God is able to give wisdom. It can go through varied circumstances but by retracing the journey, we will see that it is God who is the source. Let us learn to rely on God, to seek his wisdom. Also, let us be calm because divine wisdom is not noisy, it is gentle and not at all spectacular. Let's take the time to listen to God so as not to miss the moment when his wisdom works in us or in our neighbor. Divine wisdom begins with faith and the fear of God. Have a great Monday. Amen
