Theme: “Cultivating the land means participating in the restoration of creation”
Text: Genesis 1:26-28
26. Then God said: Let us make man in our image, after our likeness, and let him have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing. which crawl on the earth. 27. God created man in his image, in the image of God he created him, male and female he created. 28. And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it; and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the birds of the air, and over every living creature that moves on the earth.
Let's remember:
The primary mission entrusted to man is a duty to maintain, upkeep, safeguard, monitor and restore the earth. Man is the controller of the earth, he ensures its proper functioning. He must multiply the strategies necessary to protect the earth. The instruction that God gave to man and woman is to have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth. Humans must dominate the entire earth. He must not leave his place for any other creature to replace him. He must have control of all the earth to put it back into good condition each time, to restore it. Humans have the mission of not decimating creation, they must restore the fauna, the flora, the earth, the waters, the atmosphere. God also says: “be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it; and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the birds of the air, and over every living creature that moveth on the earth.” For the earth to live properly, it must be inhabited by the human species, the only species that can restore it. So humans must fill the earth through procreation and then must subjugate it. Every species that walks the earth must be subjugated and dominated by man. Man must not resign from his mission, he must not be a bad steward, he must not lead the earth adrift. Have a great Wednesday. Amen
