Cultivating the earth is participating in the restoration of creation

Theme: “Cultivating the earth is participating in the restoration of creation

Text: Ecclesiastes 11:6

6. Sow your seed in the morning, and do not let your hand rest in the evening; for you do not know whether this or that will prosper, or whether both are equally good.

Let us remember:

Proverbs 20:4. “The sluggard does not plow because of the cold; in harvest he would reap, but there is nothing.” We must sacrifice our leisure time to use it for agricultural work. Do not be deceived: God is not mocked. Whatever a man has sown, that he will also reap. God grants us time, strength, intelligence, land… let us use them so as not to die of hunger. He who sows idleness will reap famine; but he who sows wheat will reap sheaves of wheat; he will eat and never beg. Proverbs 21:25. "The desire of the sluggard kills him, because his hands refuse to work." Therefore, sow your seed in the morning, and in the evening do not let your hand rest; for you do not know whether this or that will prosper, or whether both are equally good. It is not a question of working without rest; but it is to tell us to take enough time to participate in the restoration of creation by cultivating the earth. It is in the morning that we must think about organizing our day by making a program. Then, let us move on to practice and move forward until the harvest without tiring but by applying ourselves wholeheartedly. Excellent Friday and good start to the weekend. Amen
