Theme : " Combating injustices and discrimination caused to people living with disabilities "
Text : James 2: 15-17
15. If a brother or sister is naked and lacks daily food, 16. and one of you says to them: Go in peace, warm yourselves and be satisfied! and you do not give them what is necessary for the body, what is it for? 17. So it is with faith: if it does not have works, it is dead in itself.
Let us remember :
Deprivation is a handicap to the blossoming of individual peace. Likewise, faith without works is a great handicap which does not fully accomplish the will of God. Any kind of vulnerability can easily become a handicap in that it can restrict the action or reaction of the person concerned. By multiplying injustices and discrimination, we will end up decimating our surroundings by making them inoperative and resistant to God. A withdrawal into oneself, a lack of confidence, self-denial will develop… These attitudes weaken faith and cause denial of God. So, do we violence and eradicate injustices and discrimination in our families and wherever we go. Let us promote justice and be tolerant. Let us help the needy and needy as God helps us when we go to beg his grace. Excellent Wednesday. Amen Alain Louz.-
