Theme : " Combating injustices and discrimination caused to people living with disabilities "
Text : 1 John 3: 17-18
17. If a man possesses the world's goods and sees his brother in need and shuts his heart against him, how does the love of God abide in him? 18. Little children, do not love in word and tongue, but in deed and in truth.
Let us remember :
When God noticed that the world had a severe handicap that prevented it from accessing eternal salvation, He sent His Son to save us from the eternal loss to which we were doomed. It was in the name of his justice and his love that he let his Son suffer for our salvation. Likewise, we must help our neighbor who is in need. Being in need is a serious handicap that prevents access to peace, joy, sanity and more. Not showing love to others is also an injustice because it is a serious breach of the will of God. All sin is a handicap since to sin is to miss the mark. So, let's not close our bowels to our neighbor at the risk of discriminating against ourselves and our neighbor. Let us fight against the injustices which deprive our neighbor of his legitimate rights. Excellent Tuesday. Amen Alain Louz.-
