Theme : " Combating injustices and discrimination caused to people living with disabilities "
Text : Leviticus 19: 14-15
14. Thou shalt not curse the deaf, neither shalt thou put before a blind man anything that may cause him to fall; for you will fear your God. I am the Lord. 15. Thou shalt not do iniquity in thy judgments; thou shalt not respect the person of the poor, and thou shalt not favor the person of the great, but judge thy neighbor according to righteousness.
Let us remember :
When a person is not filled with the Holy Spirit, he runs the risk of making false judgments because human intelligence has limits. It is the Holy Spirit who gives us access to the divine by providing us with high supernatural capacities. Now, we know that the heart of man is above all crooked; there comes out all kinds of discrimination and injustice. God being our moral and spiritual lawgiver; we must follow his instructions to make clean both our conscience and our work under the sun. So let's fight injustice; let us fight any act, any decision contrary to justice. Treat our neighbor with fairness and impartiality. Let us fight the discrimination which is the act of separating one human group from others by treating them worse. Let us not take advantage of our neighbor's handicap to reduce it and gain the upper hand. Let us have consideration for our neighbor, whatever his motor, psychic, moral, intellectual or spiritual handicap. Excellent Monday. Amen Alain Louz.-
