Theme : " Cast aside the sin of violence in the Church and the family to enter into sanctification "
Text : Proverbs 11: 17-20
17. A good man does good to his soul, But a cruel man troubles his own flesh. 18. The wicked earns deceitful gain, but he who sows righteousness has true wages. 19. So righteousness leads to life, but he who pursues evil finds death. 20. Those who are perverse in heart are an abomination to the LORD, but those whose way is blameless are his delight.
Let us remember :
The Lord insists again and again; we must reject the sin of violence in the Church and the family to enter into sanctification. Our place is not in violence because faith does not rhyme with violence. It is incompatible to call oneself a Christian and to be violent with the Church and her family. We are also violent with our own being. We disturb our own life by orienting it towards evil, towards violence. When we mismanage life, making violent, cruel and therefore irresponsible; we destroy ourselves without realizing it. A person who is lucid does good to his soul, but the cruel man troubles his own flesh. Fraud is also violence because it is written: He who makes deceptive gain is a wicked man; but he who sows righteousness has real wages. Let us love gentleness, lucidity, temperance, self-control, justice… Let us know that justice leads to life, but he who pursues evil finds death. Those who are violent are an abomination to the Lord, but those who sanctify themselves are his delight. Excellent Sunday. Amen Alain Louz.-
