Theme : " Cast aside the sin of violence in the Church and the family to enter into sanctification "
Text : Proverbs 18: 6-7
6. The lips of a fool mingle with strife, and his mouth provokes strikes. 7. The mouth of a fool is his ruin, and his lips are a snare for his soul.
Let us remember :
Violence in the midst of the Church hinders the advancement of God's work. When our lips speak insults, it is the devil who rejoices. Backbiting is growing; likewise calumnies settle peacefully. Talking has become a way of life appreciated by a large number of people. We no longer try to keep our tongue in check. You don't turn your tongue seven times before speaking. Those who make the effort to maintain mastery of their language are humiliated and called hypocrites. This is why quarrels have become commonplace in families and in the Church. In view of all this violence, are we not fools? The mouth of a fool causes his ruin, and his lips are a trap for his soul. Let us reject all violence and align ourselves with sanctification. Excellent Thursday. Amen Alain Louz.-
