Theme: “Become aware of your identity in Christ”
Text: Galatians 2:19-20
19. For by the law I died to the law, that I might live unto God. 20. I have been crucified with Christ; and if I live, it is no longer I who live, it is Christ who lives in me; If I now live in the flesh, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.
Let's remember:
It is the story of a merged life through which Christ and we become one. Our identity is that of a Christian who harbors his Lord in his heart so as not to sin against God. It is a mystery that has been hidden from the world for millennia: Christ in us, the hope of glory. It is Christ who carries us in his bosom; it is also we who carry it in our life because it now lives within us. A person acquires a new life or new birth which is Christ himself, when, in the time of grace, he is converted, he confesses his sins to God and believes in the name of the Lord Jesus and in his work on the cross. Her life changes, she becomes united with her savior and Lord Jesus Christ. Control of one's life depends on the guidance received from the Holy Spirit. His life is crucified with Christ so he can no longer do his own will except that of God. She no longer lives for herself but for God. When a life is dependent on another person, we are therefore under their protection. Thus, our identity is that of a protected and reassured person. The guarantee received is so reassuring that fear, worry and doubt no longer have any place. Jesus takes control of everything and he carries us away in his love. Excellent Friday and good start to the weekend. Amen
